Dr. Saqib Masood, MD, hails from Sargodha, Pakistan. He pursued his early education at the Anglo-Urdu Boys Secondary School in Baldia Town, Karachi. His journey into the medical field commenced at Adam Jee Government Science College, Karachi, where he completed his premedical school diploma. He then continued his academic pursuit at Dow Medical College, Karachi, Pakistan, where he obtained his medical education.
Dr. Masood completed an extensive three-year Pediatric residency at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center located in Bronx, NY. He subsequently undertook a comprehensive one-year fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology and Metabolism at North Shore University Hospital – NYU School of Medicine in Manhasset, NY.
With a dedicated commitment to pediatric care, Dr. Masood became a valued member of The Children’s Doctor in May 2004. His professional credentials include being board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and a distinguished fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Masood’s clinical interests are particularly centered around growth failure, diabetes mellitus, thyroid diseases, obesity, precocious and delayed puberty, polycystic ovarian syndrome, menstrual irregularities, and short stature. Beyond his medical pursuits, he finds enjoyment in activities such as tennis, visiting parks, watching movies, and cherishing moments with his family. In his personal life, he is a devoted husband and father to four sons.
